What is a make-up trial?

Make-up trials consist of a personal consultation where you discuss styles of make-up, hair and all aspects of your wedding from your dress colours, bridal party, flowers and photographer arrival times. This is followed by having your hair and make-up done by your selected Artist.

A make-up trial is the best time to discuss the look you want to achieve, it is the key to looking and feeling absolutely beautiful on your wedding day! Just as you have made important decisions on selecting your wedding gown, flowers, venues and overall themes, having a make-up trial allows you to establish the ultimate look that best suits your own personal style.

When should a make-up trial take place?

A trial is highly recommended 6 to 9 weeks prior to your wedding.

How long does a trial take?

For make-up alone, allow 1 hour, for both hair and make-up allow 2 hours.
